All goods offered are , subject to availability of stock. Costs of returning a product fall on the consumer unless faulty. Marine direct and their employees, will not be held responsible for any inconvenience, and consequential problems, caused due to time delays on goods ordered. Any cancellations of orders must be made with 12 hours of the original order by email or by phone the next day. Time scale is due to the speed that orders are processed by computer. All goods purchased should be used as intended and in accordance with the manufacturers intended use and instructions supplied. No product supplied by us to a business customer shall carry any warranty or condition of sale, express or implied, as to quality, or as to fitness for any particular purpose unless the customer, when he orders that product, sufficiently explains the purpose for which it is required and makes it clear that he is relying on our skill and judgement.business users will have commercial warranty set out by manufacturers. In no event do we accept liability to a business customer for consequential damage beyond replacement of any faulty or unsuitable product supplied. All products will be sold fit for the purpose that they have been designed, built, and intended for use as. All property will remain the property of marine direct until full payments have been made. The seller Marine Direct, and their employees, will not be held responsible for any injury and or death as a result of use of our products. Please follow all guidelines with regard to use and maintenance of the products you purchase, set out in the details supplied with the product, and set out in this website, for your own benefit and continued reliability of the product. Especially with regard to motors/boats/trailers/pwc. We do advise that you insure all products you buy and use, to cover yourselves against loss, damage, and third party liability,(especially on boats with motors, and pwc). When you have read these terms and wish to continue, you will be asked to agree to accept those terms before proceeding with an order. These will apply to all transactions. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
We will not pass your details on to any other Company or organisation, except those directly involved in the delivery and supply of your order.
Our prices are fully inclusive of Uk VAT (is inclusive at 20%)
All products are covered by makers warranty If the product fails or is faulty within the warranty period, we will repair it free of charge ,if it is sent to us ,or within the uk dealer network within 21 days. Makers warranty applies as all goods are officially imported to the uk by official dealerships (ie no grey imports) This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns All goods which you are going to return must be done with prior approval in writing. Also any refunds will only be made with prior arrangement. Costs of returning a product fall on the consumer unless faulty. Any goods sent back must be sent with some form of receipt/registration for delivery. If for any reason a product fails to meet your expectations, return it to us within 7 days for a card refund. All goods should be retuned in the original packing, in perfect unused condition. Refunds will not be accepted after this point, unless goods are faulty and returned to us for evaluation of the problem, to dealt within a reasonable time scale. Any damage on the parcels should be reported to the delivery driver when goods are signed for. Any problems with a consignment should be notified to us within 24 hrs. We will dispatch every thing from our uk depot. All orders should arrive to you within 10 days (except large motors, boats, pwc and trailers) All orders will be confirmed, and any stock problems or points to discuss about deliveries will be Communicated to you as soon as possible. We will quote you for delivery to the islands and highlands of the UK Marine direct will only be dealing with the uk for the time being, so we can specialise in this service. All delivery dates given will be done so in good faith, and is not guaranteed, and could be subject to outside influences, beyond our control.
Large items delivery.
Boats and outboards will be termed as special order and if returned within 7 days for refund, in new, boxed condition (costs of returning a product fall on the consumer unless faulty). These purchases will attract a 15% handling charge due to costs involved in preparing and sending these products. Please email us as soon as possible if you wish to return these bits.
Payment is taken via a secure credit card line for you peace of mind.
All orders will be confirmed by email and large delvieries will be discussed with the customer to ensure suitable handling logisics. Once ordered you will be given an order reference number and a customer service telephone number.
Damaged goods and packaging If your goods are clearly damaged upon arrival please return them and sign carriers docket accordingly. If the packaging is damaged please do the same. If the goods are damaged inside the package, please notify us with 24hrs of receipt of the goods either by email or phone the customer services telephone number which is on your receipt.
Your order cannot be processed unless you give the telephone number of the card holders address and the delivery address telephone number if different from above.Land line only please, however mobile phones will be useful but not acceptable as the only telephone contact.
If the product is labelled as a special order, this means it is usually a larger and more expensive product which sometimes will take longer to come (ie 2-4 wks and you will be notified of this).We also levy handling charges on returned unwanted orders due to the cost of delivery and preparation. Sometimes the goods are made specially to order. Temporarily out of stock Due to demand for this product we have put a hold on orders and this will be reintroduced at a later date when stocks are plentifull.
